About Absolution Chapter Three and beyond...
Absolution is an idea I’ve had for over a decade. It’s incredibly challenging to write as I want the experience of reading it to be pleasurable but also have a compelling story. It’s intended to be arousing yet actually more akin to a horror story than erotica.
Just like Daddy’sGirl Absolution is about questioning today's stance on ethics with regards to sex and opening it all up for debate by making the reader look into themselves and think about what’s right and wrong and what they would really do if they were in the same situation.
Still quite early on, this is the point our suspicions that the protagonist may be a little bit psychopathic become more firm. Among other things this story is my protest over the fact that the Fifty Shades of Grey novels glamorize a toxic, ritualistic, somewhat abusive and unsustainable relationship.

Christian Grey is a sexual preadtor who’s wealth allows him to blindside a vulnerable woman with low self esteem and manipulate her into becoming his play toy. He takes a women living an albeit unfulfilling but comfortable life and turns her into his play thing. Jealousy, possessiveness, controlling, isolating. All his traits would raise red flags in a real life relationship and I don’t think that they could ever live happily ever after without considerable changes.

Our protagonist turns this upside down. His power comes from intelligence rather than wealth. He takes a woman who is easy to please because she desires only one thing and denies her satisfaction. She has too much excitement in her life and he forces her back down to reality, playing with one emotion at a time until she is healed and there’s no illusion of any consent.

Our guy gives the girl what she needs not what she wants. If Christian Grey is a night in shining armour rescuing the bored girl next door from reality then our guy is an anti hero, bringing the wild girl living a brutal lifetime of abuse back to reality.

I want my readers to enjoy my story for the right reasons but in the end I wrote it for the joy of writing and to improve my creative writing skills so even if it’s a failure at least I’ll learn something.
Thanks for reading
Enjoy
